- Managing your wallet, reviewing transaction history, and requesting withdrawals.
2.4 Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- List, sell, or transact in illegal goods or services of any kind in any jurisdiction.
- Use the Platform to facilitate fraud, money laundering, or any criminal activity.
- Artificially inflate your Trust Score through fake deals, fictitious counterparties, or collusion.

- Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform content without our express written consent.
2.5 Deal Mechanics and Payment Protection
- When a deal is initiated, the buyer's funds are held in trust by Atlas until the deal is confirmed complete.
- Delivery is confirmed when the buyer receives the item and enters the OTP provided by Atlas. Entry of the OTP constitutes the buyer's irrevocable confirmation that the deal is complete, triggering release of funds to the seller.
- If the buyer takes no action within 48 hours of the seller marking an item as delivered, funds are automatically released to the seller.
- Cancelled or mutually abandoned deals will be refunded to the buyer, minus any applicable fees.
- Atlas reserves the right to withhold funds pending investigation of suspected fraud or policy breaches.
2.6 Trust Scores and Ranks
Trust Scores are calculated on the Platform based on your deal history, dispute outcomes, and platform behaviour. Rank designations (Newcomer, Connector, Trader, Sentinel, Elite) are derived from your Trust Score and displayed to other users as an indicator of reliability. KT reserves the right to adjust Trust Scores, modify rank thresholds, and update scoring methodology at any time. Attempting to manipulate your Trust Score is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate permanent suspension.
2.7 Fees
KT charges transaction fees on completed deals. Applicable fee rates are displayed within the Platform at the time of each transaction. Operator commissions are governed by the Operator Programme terms communicated at enrolment. We reserve the right to amend fees with reasonable prior notice published within the Platform.

- Your Atlas wallet holds funds earned from completed deals, subject to applicable settlement periods.
- Withdrawal requests are processed to your linked payout account, subject to identity verification and applicable limits.

- We reserve the right to place a hold on wallet funds where fraud, disputes, or policy violations are under investigation.
2.9 Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without prior notice, for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, regulatory requirements, or at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Any funds held in your wallet at the time of termination will be handled in accordance with our investigation and recovery procedures.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
2.11 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kardashev Technologies and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Atlas by KT in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
2.12 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation within 30 days shall be referred to and finally resolved by binding arbitration under the Rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). The seat of arbitration shall be London, England. The language of arbitration shall be English. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.

3.2 Lawful Basis for Processing
We process personal data only where a valid lawful basis exists:

- Legitimate interests: Processing for fraud detection, Trust Score calculation, and Platform security, balanced against your rights and interests.
- Consent: Processing for optional features such as location display on the Atlas Map. You may withdraw consent at any time.
3.3 Data Minimisation and Purpose Limitation
We collect only the minimum data necessary for the stated purposes described in our Privacy Policy. Data collected for one purpose is not repurposed for incompatible uses. We conduct regular reviews to ensure ongoing alignment with these principles.
3.4 Third-Party Data Processors
Atlas by KT engages the following categories of third-party processors under appropriate data processing agreements:
- Database and storage: Supabase (PostgreSQL infrastructure; data encrypted at rest; access governed by row-level security policies).
- SMS and OTP delivery: Twilio (processes phone numbers solely for authentication and deal confirmation messages).
- Email delivery: Resend (processes email addresses solely for transactional communications).
- Payment processing: Paystack, Flutterwave, and other integrated processors (operate within their own PCI-DSS-compliant environments; Atlas by KT does not store card numbers or sensitive payment credentials).
We do not transfer personal data to processors in jurisdictions without adequate data protection standards without implementing appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.
3.5 AML and Financial Compliance
As a platform facilitating financial transactions globally, Atlas by KT maintains a committed approach to anti-money laundering compliance:
- Phone number verification via OTP is required at account creation.

- Transaction monitoring is in place for unusual patterns including high-value or high-frequency deal activity.
- Enhanced identity verification is required for withdrawal requests above defined thresholds.
- Financial transaction records are maintained for a minimum of seven (7) years.

- Webhook endpoints use HMAC signature verification to prevent unauthorised or spoofed requests.
- OTP codes are single-use and time-limited, used for both authentication and deal confirmation.
- Deal state transitions are enforced via a server-side validated state machine; no unauthorised transitions are permitted.
- Delivery proof photos are stored in private paths and accessed only via signed URLs with expiry windows.
- All administrative actions are recorded in an immutable audit log.
- Idempotency controls via a processed events table prevent duplicate processing of webhook events.
3.7 Data Breach Response
In the event of a personal data breach likely to result in risk to individuals, we will notify relevant supervisory authorities within 72 hours where required, and notify affected users without undue delay where there is likely high risk to their rights. We maintain an internal incident response plan and conduct post-incident reviews.
3.8 User Rights Requests
To exercise your data rights, email info@kardashevtechnologies.com with the subject line 'Data Rights Request' and include your registered email address or ATX ID. We respond within 30 days. Identity verification may be required. Complex requests may be extended by a further 60 days with notice.
